Hexafusion IT Solutions is a Vancouver-based managed IT and cybersecurity provider serving British Columbia businesses since 2020. We were built on one idea: small and mid-market BC businesses deserve the same security rigour and operational discipline that Fortune 500 IT teams take for granted, without the enterprise price tag or the offshore call-centre experience.
Our Story
Hexafusion was founded in 2020 by Alex Barari, a former PCI DSS Internal Security Assessor (ISA) with over 15 years of experience spanning enterprise IT infrastructure, payment-card compliance auditing, and cybersecurity program leadership. After years on the assessor side of the table, watching smaller BC organizations struggle to meet security standards that their service providers should have handled for them, Alex started Hexafusion to close that gap.
The premise was simple: run a managed IT provider the way a security-first enterprise IT team would. Document what you build, measure what you manage, assume breaches, test your backups, and write response commitments in plain English where the client can hold you to them.

Documented by default
Every engagement starts with a full environment intake and produces documentation you own. Network diagrams, asset inventory, user directory, backup topology, security baseline. Not a black box. If we ever part ways, you leave with everything you need to hand to the next provider.
Security and backup built in
Security and backup are not add-on surprises. EDR, MFA, conditional access, backup verification, and restore testing are designed into every service tier from day one. Your finance team and IT team are always aligned on what is protected and what it costs.
Written response commitments
Every plan includes response time commitments in writing. Initial ticket response within 15 minutes during coverage hours, by a real engineer. Emergency on-site in downtown Vancouver within 1 hour, longer for suburbs based on drive time. Resolution is same-day for Professional and Enterprise clients whose network infrastructure we manage, barring force-majeure events. 24/7/365 monitoring with on-call response on higher tiers. No vague promises.
Quarterly business reviews
On Professional and Enterprise plans we deliver quarterly Technology Business Reviews covering ticket trends, security posture, budget vs actuals, upcoming projects, and lifecycle milestones. You get vCIO-level visibility, not just reactive support.
